John Magas was saved at the age of 4 and called to preach at the age of 12. He attended Oklahoma Baptist College under the leadership of Dr Jim Vineyard and then his succeeding son Pastor Tom Vineyard. He graduated in 2007 and joined the staff of Windsor Hills Baptist Church and OBC where he served for the next 6 years. Pastor Magas then felt the call to take a new church plant in Parkville, Missouri. The church voted unanimously and Bro Magas pastored the Solid Rock Baptist Church in North Kansas City for 10 years from 2013-2023. Pastor Magas felt led to relocate from the storefront church in Kansas City to a property in Lansing, Kansas that was miraculous provided. He now serves as pastor of the Lansing Baptist Church of Lansing, Kansas.
